Courtenay is a human rights expert with nearly 10 years’ experience working with various human rights organisations. As Human Rights Manager at Tesco, she leads their modern slavery strategy as one of their four human rights priority pillars and drives continuous improvement within their supply chains and own operations. Courtenay is responsible for setting strategic priorities and managing day to day risk. Courtenay has previously worked in international development and human rights issues such as gender-based violence, refugees and forced detention, specialising in modern slavery for the past 5 years.
