Peter is the Indirects Procurement Manager for Yeo Valley, the UK’s largest organic food brand; as well as being a key partner for all the UK’s retailers in the responsible production of various white label dairy goods from yoghurt to ice-cream to kefir and more. Peter has over 15 years of experience in procurement roles spanning both public and private sector, working on a whole host of categories from food to labour, construction to cutting edge laboratory tech.
Peter is experienced in the design, implementation, delivery and support of supply chain sustainability projects and practices. At Yeo Valley Peter is responsible for group oversight of Indirect categories from energy to waste as well as sitting on their ‘Fairer Supply Chain’ working group; aiming to develop and oversee the overarching program of work to understand, measure and improve environmental and social practices within existing and future supply chains.
The Food Network for Ethical Trade (FNET) connects major UK food retailers, manufacturers, suppliers and a range of small, medium and large food companies to build more ethical trade by identifying and tackling human rights issues in food supply chains.
