Could you be our new Membership Engagement Manager?
We are seeking a confident and proactive relationship manager with experience in membership engagement, business development, partnerships or stakeholder management, and a strong interest in human rights, ethical trade or sustainability. The candidate should have excellent communication and relationship-building skills, experience managing diverse stakeholders, and the ability to use data and insight to drive member engagement, retention and growth. Experience of working with membership organisations, networks or mission-led organisations would be advantageous.

The Food Network for Ethical Trade (FNET) is looking for an exceptional Head of Finance and Operations to join our senior leadership team and help drive the next phase of our growth and impact. This part-time role offers a unique opportunity to combine strategic leadership with hands-on delivery, ensuring that a purpose-led organisation has the financial strength, operational excellence and governance needed to create lasting change in global food supply chains. One day you might be developing financial scenarios for Board discussions or advising on organisational growth; the next you could be improving internal systems, strengthening governance processes, or ensuring invoices and accounts are running smoothly.
We are seeking an experienced finance and operations leader with strong expertise in financial management, budgeting, forecasting, governance and organisational development. The candidate should have significant experience in senior finance roles, ideally within a not-for-profit, membership organisation or purpose-led business, and be confident balancing strategic financial leadership with hands-on operational delivery. The postholder should have excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills, alongside experience of strengthening systems, managing risk and supporting organisational growth. The postholder will provide financial and operational leadership across FNET, contribute to strategic decision-making, help foster a collaborative and accountable culture, and support the long-term sustainability and effectiveness of the organisation
