Meet FNET’s new Project & Membership Manager

The Food Network for Ethical Trade (FNET) is delighted to welcome Linda Beresford to the team as one of our project and membership managers from mid-August 2023. She is joining to replace Margaret Nderitu who sadly is leaving us in September (more on that in another announcement !) to work with Project and Membership Manager Suzanne Natelson .

Linda brings a wealth of food supply chain experience. She has worked in a variety of food development, commercial, technical and sustainability senior roles where she has developed and championed implementation of different businesses human rights and sustainability strategies. Whilst Technical and Development Director for CP foods she encouraged the business to join FNET and was an active collaborative working group lead. For 2 years 2019-2021 she worked as the Seafood Task Force Programme Manager leading multistakeholder working groups,  developing projects to assess risk and remediation tools and training in the supply chains. She played a key role in enabling the Country Expansion of the STF into new territories in Vietnam and India, and the development a fishery Environmental Standard.

FNET Board said ‘ We were lucky enough to attract a number of talented applications for the FNET Project and membership manager role. We picked Linda as she brings the practical can-do management experience, we need to drive greater alignment between members and increase our collective supply chain impact.

Commenting on her appointment, Linda said: “I am honoured and excited to be joining the FNET team at this exciting time and commit to use my food industry and human rights experience to make a real difference in our collective supply chains”.
