Louise is the Head of CSR at Joseph Robertson and has been at the organisation for nearly 5years. Her areas of responsibility are ethical and environmental sourcing and supply chain management, environmental management with a focus on energy and waste, diversity and inclusion within the organisation, community outreach and overall sustainability strategy planning. Joseph Robertson have been involved in various industry collaborative groups for many years and Louise is the company representation for these groups including Seafood Ethics Action Alliance (SEAA), Sustainable Seafood Coalition (SSC) and FNET. She is experienced in developing and implementing ISO14001 management systems, has a Masters in Environmental Management and has experience in preparing and chairing meetings and developing and facilitating workshops. Louise previously worked as an Environmental Advisor in Oil and Gas for 9 years and became involved in sustainability and ethical procurement in her final year there. In her personal life she is keen to make a difference locally and has held various positions in the local community council for the last 10years including secretary, treasurer and chair with experience in collaborating with other groups and fundraising. Louise has been a working group lead for the Raw Materials working group since January 2022.
The Food Network for Ethical Trade (FNET) connects major UK food retailers, manufacturers, suppliers and a range of small, medium and large food companies to build more ethical trade by identifying and tackling human rights issues in food supply chains.
